After unsuccessful attempts to revive our ailing economy, the US is forced to cut funding to rural, low-population areas of the nation leaving millions to fend for themselves. Amid ongoing territorial disputes, Nicholas Grim is forced to witness the brutal murder of his parents by Armed Militant Forces in Texas. Now an adult, Grim vows to avenge his family and uncover their killers motives.
The stock market hits an all time low, unemployment rises, the value of the dollar decreases and the cost of living goes up: Millions of people in New York City, Los Angeles, Washington D.C. and other large cities pick up cardboard and sharpie pens to state the obvious: “We don’t like this”… It’s got to be a “Texas” thing: You tell a man you’re cutting the electricity off, he opens the blinds… you tell him you’re cutting the water off, he starts digging a hole. “If the end of the world happened, Texas would still look the same”.
