A “short film” ver­sion of Adrian Santiago’s fea­ture-​length screen­play for “Hol­i­day” shot in 2006. Four men are on a Spe­cial Ops train­ing mis­sion, when phys­i­cal and men­tal fa­tigue takes its toll on the lead­er of the group. Sensibility gets thrown right out the window in a hurry as the situation escalates.

On the last day of shooting, the Director of Photography placed his camera in harm’s way during the fight scene and ended up snapping the viewfinder off of his on-loan Canon XL-2, effectively ending shooting for the weekend. The Director of Photography had also offered to edit the short, but due to ongoing personal issues Adrian Santiago made the decision to push on without him, shooting black and white footage to compensate for lack of ending and editing the video over the course of a week.
